This automatic edge banding solution is implemented by EXCITECH for a local panel furniture manufacturer in Spain, suitable for continuous double-side edge banding processing of cabinet and wardrobe panels.

Production Workflow

The first robot picks raw panels and places them on the rotary conveyor line. Panels are delivered to the first edge bander for single-side edge banding. After completion, panels circulate along the rotary line and enter the second edge bander for edge processing on the opposite side. Once double-side edge banding is finished, the second robot automatically unloads and stacks the finished panels.
